In order to recognize and honor surfing organizations, schools, and individuals for their public service record towards enriching the surfing experience of tomorrow’s waveriders, the Groundswell Society provides this unique opportunity for invitees to surf the Queen of the Coast for an hour… with just your friends! Surfing Arts, Sciences and Issues Conference (SASIC)

The Surfing Arts, Sciences and Issues Conference is held annually and covers issues and topics that seek to invoke thought and debate with surfing’s intellectual elite.  On the first day of the seminar we provide a full day of lectures, seminars and multimedia presentations including a catered breakfast and lunch.  On Day 2 we put all of we learned to the test with a 4 group surf session/board swap at Scripps pier.
